Mr. Jessie Smith, Jr. affectionately known as “Bill” was born on March 11, 1937, to the parentage of the late Jessie Smith and Carrie Bell Smith.

Mr. Smith entered eternal rest January 26, 2024, surrounded by his favorite nephew, Sanford (Kim) and family.

Mr. Smith attended public schools in Baldwin County and later in life he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Jessie was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Eddie Smith (Margie) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, including a devoted nephew, Sanford Ross (Kashunika).
