Jermaine Laqane Jackson was born on September 19, 1973 in Augusta, GA. He was born to the parents of Willie James Jackson and Katherine Jackson. At an early age Jermaine received Christ into his life and was baptized by his late grandfather Willie Lee Jackson.
Jermaine grew up in Milledgeville, GA and was educated in the Baldwin County School System. He attended Baldwin High School and Georgia Military College where he received his GED. After graduation he enrolled in Job Corps in Albany, GA and later attended DeVry University in Atlanta, GA where he studied Computer Science. Throughout his adult years he was employed at Rheems Manufacturing, Chemtex, and Little Caesars.
“Jube” enjoyed spending quality time with his family vacationing, attending school activities with his children, and celebrating holidays and birthdays. His hobbies that he loved dearly were fishing and cooking. He learned his great cooking skills from his late grandmother Christine Elizabeth Jackson.
Jermaine was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Willie Lee and Christine Jackson; uncle, Jimmy Lee Jackson.
He is survived by his parents, Willie James Jackson, Katherine Jackson; grandmother Sadie Jackson; children, Christina Jackson, Christion Jackson, LaQuay Chapple, ShaNiya Hall, grandchild, Anastasia Floyd; devoted friend, Jamie Chapple; siblings, Deldrick Jackson, Tonika (Curtis) Swint, Christopher Paschal, Lakissia Moss, Simeyon Jones, Nidia (Horatio) Myrick, Alexis (Ahmad) Zephir, Akeem Jackson, Chikeeda Jackson, Levar Jones; aunts: Betty Jean Jackson, Exa (Quincy) Montgomery, Thelma Jackson; uncles: Willie Lee Jackson Jr., Robert Jackson, Melvin (Diane) Jackson, Johnny Jackson; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, motherly friend, Ruby Havior, and the Dunlap Community.
