Mr. James Albert Johnson, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his residence.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. James Albert Johnson, 62 years old from Milledgeville, Georgia passed away October 17, 2021, a t his residenc e . He was affectionately known as “Boot Man” by his family and friends. James Albert was born on May 28, 1959, to the parents of Lorena Pearl Johnson and Willie Louis Johnson. He was born in Milledgeville, Georgia and raised on Pettigrew Rd. James Albert graduated from Baldwin High School with the class of 1977. He worked at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia as a Health Service Technician. Spending time with family was a big part of his life and he really enjoyed fellowshipping with his family. James Albert loved people, cooking, riding motorcycles, riding his bike, fixing small engines and motorcycles, and enjoying life to the fullest. James Albert was a Jack of All Trades and he took gratitude in helping whomever he could. He greeted people with a smile and a warm heart. Oftentimes when he did work for others and was asked what they owed him he would say, “whatever you give me.” He was preceded death by his brother, Robert Louis Johnson, Sr. James Albert leaves to cherish his memories with his daughters: Sara Johnson, Shalise Johnson, and Brittany Johnson, all from Milledgeville, Georgia; one son, Ja’jaun Johnson, of Milledgeville, Georgia and eight grandchildren. James Albert has one sister, Anntionette (Tommy ) Williams, o f Milledgeville, Georgia. He is also survived by two aunts: Annie Clyde Johnson and Emma Wilson, both of Milledgeville, Georgia; devoted friend, Ronda Woods; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
