Jacqueline Elaine "Polley" (Evans) Roberson

Mrs. Jacqueline E. "Polley" Evans-Roberson, of Tennille, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Tennille, Georgia.

On March 27, 2021, Jesus sent his angels down Mrs. Jacqueline Elaine “Polley” Evans Roberson, heard the voice of Jesus say “Well Done” thou good and faithful servant, come unto me and rest. Your wings are ready for you to enter into the joy of thy Lord, and she peacefully transitioned to her Heavenly home. Mrs. Jacqueline Roberson affectionately known as Polley was born August 2, 1962 in Hancock County, GA to the parentage of the late Mr. George Evans, Sr. and the late Mrs. Atline Berry Evans. She was educated in the Washington County School system and was a member of the class of 1980. In 2003, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Willie Roberson. Mrs. Roberson spent most of her life taking care of others along with her nieces & nephews. A beautiful soul has faded from our midst. She will be missed by so many people all whom were privileged to know this wonderfully inspiring person. “Polley” touched the hearts and lives of so many people and in so many different ways. She shall surely be missed. Mrs. Roberson was proceeded in death by her husband Mr. Willie Roberson and her brothers Mr. Willie Evans & Mr. Raymond Clayton. Mrs. Jacqueline Elaine Evans Roberson leaves to cherish her sisters: Mrs. Hattie Davis, Mrs. Jeannette Riddle, Mrs. Sakethia Boyer; brother: Mr. George ( (Edwina) Evans, Jr.; aunts: Lillie Pearl Stewart, Grace Berry; stepson: Demeatrius Swint; godson: Dwayne Renfroe; sister-in-laws: Mary Griner, Evelyn Brown, Mary Harden; brother-in-law: Robert Harden, Sr.; nieces: Shanika Evans, Shaurika Boyer, Tiffany Boyer, Katrina Boyer, Alexis Evans, Kenya Clayton, DeAsia Johnson, Andrea Johnson; nephews: Willie Reon (Pamela) Davis lll, Patera Davis, Jermel Davis, Melvin Evans, Jenarra Evans, Kelvin (Teherriah) Boyer, Jr., Atarice (Asia) Boyer, JaMarius (Ashley) Evans, Tavarius Clayton, , Kentavious Clayton; devoted cousins: Jean Edwards, Lula Berry, Wanda Berry, Glenda Moss; devoted friends: Bernice Renfroe, Ruby Johnson, Kimberly Johnson, a host of other great nieces & nephews, relatives and friends.
