Ja'Quavious Montez Butts

Mr. Ja'Quavious M. Butts, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in Macon, Georgia.

Mr. Ja'Quavious Montez “Jock” Butts was born to the parents of Ms. Shenita Butts and Mr. Jamaarl Butts, on April 20, 1998. He lived in his native home of Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia until he moved to Macon, Georgia a couple of years ago.  He attended the public schools of Baldwin County, where he received his high school diploma.

Ja'Quavious became a member of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. after deciding that he wanted to dedicate his life to the Lord. He was a very friendly person that always kept a smile on his face as well as the people around him. He could light up any room that he entered.

On March 6, 2019, Mr. Ja'Quavious Montez “Jock” Butts, passed on to walk with the Lord. He is survived his parents: Ms. Shenita Butts and Mr. Jamaarl Butts, both of Milledgeville, GA; his maternal grandmother: Ms. Lillian Nixon of Milledgeville, GA; his paternal grandparents: Ms. Janice Potts-Butts of Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Willie James Butts of Detroit, MI; his brothers: Mr. Jamir Young and Mr. Jabarius Hill, both of Milledgeville, GA; his sister: Ms. Ja'Kierria Foston of Macon, GA; his aunts: Ms. Teresa Nixon (Jarvis Robinson) of Macon, GA, Ms. Brandi Nixon and Ms. Ewana Butts, both of Milledgeville, GA, Ms. Talisha Butts of Detroit, MI; his uncles: Mr. Meiontaye Butts of Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Tysce Butts of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Jaoquin Butts of Detroit, MI; a devoted cousin: Mr. Jamarkus Robinson of Macon, GA; a special friend: Ms. Erika Mathis of Milledgeville, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
