Mr. Ira Lee Solomon, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his residence in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Council Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Tripe was born on March 13, 1947 in McIntyre, GA. He was the son of the late Ira Lee Solomon, Sr. and Margaret E. Frazier.
Tripe worked at Phoenixville Scrap Yard for over 40 years. Some of Tripe’s favorite things to do were cooking, grilling, hosting cookouts, going fishing, playing cards, and working in his garden. Most importantly he enjoyed visiting his family in Georgia and spending time with friends sharing stories and laughing.
He is survived by his devoted companion: Ms. Darlene Freeman; nine children: Jacqueline Larkin, Priscilla (Lee) Anderson, Karen Solomon, Joe Solomon, Angela Solomon, Stephanie Durden, Gregory Durden, Christian Solomon, Kristie Johnson; thirty-eight grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Shirley Townsend, Mary Ellen Solomon, Jonetta Little; one brother: Johnny Mark Frazier; a host of relatives and friends.
