Hilda “Renee” Mixon Manning at the age of 75, passed away at her home on Lake Sinclair with her loving family beside her June 24, 2025. She was born in Macon, Georgia on September 6, 1949.

Her greatest joy was her cooking, collecting recipes and cookbooks. She also loved quilting for her loved ones, as well as her gardening all while looking at her view of the lake from her living room or kitchen.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, her two pets Jax and Layla, as well as her grandchildren and her daughter when visiting from Louisiana. They loved to call her “Honee!”

Renee is preceded in death by her parents, Buck Mixon and Hilda Mixon.

Renee will be deeply missed by those who know and loved her.

Renee is survived by her husband, Norman “Lonnie” Manning; brother, Ricky Mixon and wife Nena Mixon; her children, Ronda Manning and her significant other Aaron Blade, and Rica Manning; grandchildren, Gabriel (Gabe) Thornton and significant other Melissa Bush, Micah Barton with his significant other Cory Barton, Lonnie " Chucky " Maxwell and significant other Sierra Havis; and the favorite granddaughter Gabriele (Gabby) Thornton and her significant other Clarence “CJ” Dantzler; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
