Gloria Riley

Mrs. Gloria Riley, of 156 Highview Road, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Navicent Health Baldwin, Milledgeville.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Second Beulah Baptist Church, Sparta, Georgia. Interment followed in Hickory Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Gloria A. Warren Riley was born on June 22, 1960 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie, Sr. and Mattie Mae Warren.  She departed this life on Sunday, March 08, 2020.  Proceeding her in death is her sister Betty Ruth Stephens.

Gloria gave her life to Christ joining Second Beulah Baptist Church under Pastor Reverend C. Rayford at a young age where she rejoiced by singing in the choir.

She truly never met a stranger and would strike up conversations with people from all walks of life at any time and any place.  Gloria attended Baldwin High School of Milledgeville, GA and was employed at Piggly Wiggly as a cook where she touched many.

She leaves fond memories to linger in the hearts of her husband Gerald Riley, Sr. and her five children, daughters: Notasha M. Warren of Milledgeville, Shalisha Riley Hale (Alan) of Augusta, GA; three sons, Eric D. Warren of Milledgeville, Shawn L. Riley of Milledgeville, Gerald Riley Jr. (Maria) of Stockholm, Sweden.  She also leaves behind three brothers, Charlie Warren Jr. of Milledgeville, GA, Jesse Warren (Linda) of Milledgeville, GA, Joseph Warren; seven grandchildren; a devoted friend, Sherry Stubbs Howell of Milledgeville, GA; devoted nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  She will truly be missed.
