Gloria Fleming Obituary

Gloria Diane Fleming was born February 5, 1958, in Milledgeville, GA. She obtained her education from Boddie High School in Milledgeville, Georgia. Gloria furthered her education by obtaining a certificate in Childcare from Georgia College.

She would occasionally join in fellowship with the members of El Bethel Baptist Church.

Gloria met the love of her life, Mr. Tommy D. Clark, who is also the father of her children. This companionship lasted for a period of forty-five years.

Gloria began her industrial career working factory jobs. However, because she obtained her certification in Childcare, it afforded her the opportunity to gain employment in what she loved most.  Therefore, she was able to retire from the childcare industry after many years of employment at a local daycare facility.

She loved spending time with her family. She also loved her vacations to the beach and being around water. She recently enjoyed an eight-day vacation to Santa Rosa and Panama City Beach, Florida. Gloria loved to listen to music, and she loved to dance. If you ever visited her home, you would notice that she would always have children and grandchildren there.

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother Irene Fleming; children, Shane (Sonyia) Fleming, Dcarlo Fleming, Katrell Clark, Shaneika Clark, Jacqueze Clark, Tameisha (Eldren) Jackson, Shambria Clark, and Kateia Clark; brother, Nakia V. Fleming, Markes Pinkston, Keymadi Pinkston, DeQuan Pinkston, Shamya Shinholster, Jaylen Clark, Jayden Marrero, Destiny Rivers, Eli Jackson, and Ali Jackson; great grandchildren, Jaylen Tukes, Kaelum Jackson; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Monday June 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the El Bethel Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia.
