On September 13, 1951, Gladys was born to the parentage of the late Dennis Beal, Sr. and the late Theola Beal.

There were three siblings blessed to this family union including Robert Beal (1945 – 1952), George Beal (1946 – 2010), and Dennis Beal, Jr. (Dianna), who is currently residing in Jeffersonville, GA and the Pastor of three churches. One surviving aunt, Ruby Lee Coley (Felton Coley 1935 – 2024) of Dansville, GA.

Gladys attended Wilkinson County School system in which she chose to play basketball, and she was also a majorette in the Bay Fast forward graduated from high school in 1971 she was united in holy matrimony to JB Ford in 1971 to this union they were blessed with three children: Mark Ford (Tammy) of Warner Robins, GA, Rosalind Ford and Crystal Ford of Milledgeville, GA

Sport taught herself how to play the piano early on. She ministered through song as well as was the pianist for many churches including Cooper Hills Baptist Church, Spring Hill CME, New Hopewell Baptist Church, Dansville Baptist Church, and many more over the years.

Mrs Ford formed a gospel group called the Melody Aires years ago in which her daughters and grandson always ministered alongside her. Mrs. Ford was a great seamstress as well as a phenomenal cook as well.

Mrs. Ford was a very patient, considerate, spiritual and loving human being. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her siblings, the Reverend Dennis Beal, Jr. (Dianna) of Jeffersonville, GA; her three children, Mark Ford (Tammy) of Warner Robins, GA, Rosalind Ford and Crystal Ford, both of Milledgeville, GA; grandson, Reshard Holloway; granddaughter, Ashley; and great grandchildren, Riley and Autumn; aunt, Ruby Lee Coley (Felton Coley) of Dansville, GA; a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
