Gail Peeler was born in Sandersville, Georgia to the late parentage of Jimmy Lee Duggan and Virginia Peeler Moore on August 1st 1954. Gail was an ongoing caregiver for her siblings and other family members. "The Rock of the Family" is how she was best described by her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
In her early life, Gail spent several years in Jersey City, New Jersey to continue her training in workforce for the Job Corps Training Program. After, she resided in Atlanta, Georgia before returning back to her hometown, Milledgeville, Georgia. Gail was a loyal and devoted employee of Ryles Bakery in Milledgeville, Georgia. She performed a number of duties like baking, prepping sweets and desserts for the legendary bakery before they closed. Gail also worked several years at Central State Hospital.
Gail entered eternal rest on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at Chaplinwood Nursing Home in Milledgeville, Georgia. Gail is predeceased by her father, Jimmy Lee Duggan and her mother Virginia Peeler Moore, sister Diane Peeler Hall, one brother Frankie Lee Rushin, one niece Shani R. King, and one brother-in-law Robert L. Hall.
Gail leaves her precious memories and legacy to two brothers, Clifford Peeler and Bobby Joe Peeler, both of Milledgeville, Georgia and three sisters Carolyn Cook Hill, Catherine Cook, and Loretta Cook all of Milledgeville, Georgia. Three devoted brothers-in-law's; Willie J. Wilson, Bobby L. King and Kelvin Mitchell all of Milledgeville, Georgia. One aunt, Bessie L. Malone of Milledgeville, Georgia. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, including a benevolent loyal friend during changes in her health who is Franchella Brown.
