A Time to Be Born
Gable Ingram Jr. affectionately nicknamed “P Funk”, was born December 26th, 1956, to Gable Ingram Sr. and Maude Ingram.

A Time to Learn
Gable attended Hancock Central High School and was brought up in a Christian environment.

A Time to Worship
Gable began his faithful devotion to our Lord and Savior at the tender age of 12 years old at Jones Chapel AME Church.

A Time to Labor
Gable joined the professional workforce with a steadfast commitment to be loyal, dependable, and a hard worker. He was always willing to go the extra mile to complete every task that was required of him. Gable was a valued employee at the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice for 30 years.

A Time to Love
Gable never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in any capacity. Whether it be transporting family, friends, neighbors or coworkers to any destination or providing mechanical repairs for those in need as he was very passionate about cars. Gable had a very big heart that was felt by many. He had such a contagious laugh that made everyone around him laugh as well.

A Time to Transition
Gable graciously transitioned to eternal rest in God's glory on December 26th, 2024. He was predeceased by his father Gable Ingram, Sr of Sparta, GA, Mother Maude Ingram of Sparta, GA; sisters, Alberta Walls (James), Eunice Ingram of Sparta, GA, Wilma Harvey (Carlton) of Suwanee, GA, and his youngest brother Anthony Ingram of Atlanta, GA.

Gable leaves to cherish his memories: His devoted children, LaGabriel Ingram of Milledgeville, GA, Nakeeta Ingram of Decatur, GA and Gabrielle Ingram of Milledgeville, GA; brothers, Nathan Ingram of Sparta, GA, Ronald Ingram of Milledgeville, GA and Carl Ingram of Sparta, GA. Sisters, Julia Kassim (Hadeel) of Sparta, GA; Sandra Ingram (Theron) of Atlanta, GA and Willa Steele (Lee) of Columbus, GA; Four Grandchildren; Tytiana Clowers, LaGabriel Kenas Ingram, Maliah Moss, and Alonzo Simmons.

Gable will also be missed by many friends, neighbors and retired colleagues.
