Frances Theresia Powell

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Frances Theresia Powell, Haddock, Georgia. Ms. Powell passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Ellis Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Haddock, Georgia.

Frances Theresia Powell was born to the parentage of the late Walker Powell Sr. & Ada T Hall- Powell on August 20, 1949, in Haddock, Ga. on July 12, 2022, she entered into her eternal rest after a brief illness. She was educated in the Jones County School System graduating from Maggie Califf High c/0 1967. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Henry Lee Jackson II, to this union they were blessed with three children. She dedicated over 20 years of service to Baldwin County Hospital as an Environmental Service Supervisor until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her brother the late Roy Walker Powell Jr. She was life - long member of Ellis Chapel Baptist Church. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her three children Sandra Jackson, Dwayne Jackson (Gwenita), and Melisa Jackson her two grandchildren Zaria Jackson and Decora Jackson (Denzell) a great grandchild Dominic X. Jackson, her step grandchildren Tamia Brock, Ariyah Massey, Deshawn Ransom, and Shaquavious Gaston her sister Linda Juhan (Willie) three nieces Kimberly Juhan - Talley (Marshall), Norika Powell and Kristina Reeves two great-nephews Juhan Talley and Hendrixx Talley, three devoted cousins Thomasene Solomon, Mary Wallace, and Annie L. Duncan and her godson Jaquez Jackson. As well as a host of other family and friends whom all she loved and cared for deeply.
