It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mrs. Fannie Mae Robinson, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mrs. Robinson passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Central Church of Christ, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Fannie Mae Robinson, also known as " Fan," was born in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Robert and Sarah Mae Hodges. She was the first daughter of ten children.
Fannie received her education in Washington County public school system. Growing up from adolescence to adulthood. She gave and devoted her life to Christ at an early age. Later, she moved to Philadelphia, PA where she met and married, Mr. Arthur Robinson, also known as "Slim."
She returned back to Milledgeville, Georgia and began employment at Baldwin County Board of Education, City of Milledgeville Trolley, and Grandparent at the Early Learning center.
Fannie Robinson was called home on October 13, 2022, and preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Robinson, parents, Robert and Sarah Mae Hodges; two brothers, James Hodges and Robert Hodges, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Pettis, Janice Hodges, and Barbara Hodges.
She is survived by her two step sons, Mr. Arthur Robinson Jr. (Janet) and Mr. Kenneth Robinson, both of New Jersey; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Carter (Lewis) and Mrs. Denise Reaves (Jesse); two brothers, Mr. Willie Hodges and Mr. Johnny Hodges; one grandchild, Christen, nieces, nephews, friends, one devoted friend Trudy loving family and friends.
