A Humble Beginning
On March 28, 1945, in Devereux, GA, Evelyn Lundy Marshall was born. She was born to the parentage of the late Ms. Ina Lundy.

Humility And Spirituality
Deaconess Evelyn Lundy Marshall was a faithful member of St. Mary Baptist Church most of her life. She served on the Deaconess Board. Evelyn was a humble servant and extraordinary cook for the congregants.

Humility At Work
Sis. Evelyn Lundy Marshall was a licensed cosmetologist. She was a book binder for Saffron Printing Company in Detroit. After moving back to the state of Georgia, Evelyn worked for Forstmann for about a decade. Once Forstmann was closed, she worked a few years at Shaw until retirement.

Humility Falls In Love
In 1960, Sis. Evelyn Lundy married the love of her life Dea. Walter Marshall. She remained faithfully committed to him until his demise in 2015; fifty-five years of love in action.

To his wonderful union, four children were born: Sylvia, Patricia, Jenifer, and Perrie.

Humility Seeks Eternal Rest
In the peaceful afternoon of June 27, 2025, our beloved loved one entered into her humble rest. Her delicate spirit will forever be remembered by family and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Terrence Marshall; sisters, Lillie Kate Macklin, and Juanita Ray.

She leaves a legacy of memories to her remaining family members: Children, Sylvia Jackson (Kenneth) of Sparta, GA, Patricia Marshall (Mallory) of Detroit, MI, Jenifer Miller (Anthony) of Sparta, GA, Perrie Marshall (Sylvia) of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Myra Curry of Milledgeville, GA, Virginia Butler (John) of Detroit, MI; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Roberson Marshall; grandchildren, Tennis Terrell, Anshon Lamar, Teneisha Snellings, Raphael Simmons, Dennis Simmons, Jamie Lawrence, James Primas, and Mallory and Marahia Propet; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
