Charlotte Denise Gibson- Hodges, was born on April 16, 1968, to the late Mary (the late Sammie) Gibson and the late Julian Ford. She worked for Baldwin and Washington County Transportation System, beginning in 1998. She later became a CNA and begin working at the Central State Hospital at the Bostic Building in Milledgeville, Ga. before moving to Hinesville, Ga. Charlotte loved going to church, playing basketball, and traveling to different states. She also loved fishing, cooking for and spending time with her family. She had a big heart and love for everyone she met. The love was reciprocated. Although she changed up her look often, the two things that remained the same were her spirit and her smile.
Evangelist Charlotte was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship C.O.G.I.C Inc. in Jesup, Ga. If she wasn't at her home church, she was traveling Georgia to fellowship with other churches, delivering a great word and lifting her voice to the Lord. She was a praying woman who knew and loved God. Charlotte or “Niecy” as she was affectionately called by her family, met the love of her life, Mr. Willie Hodges. They recently wed earlier this year. The newlyweds enjoyed spending quality time traveling together. She will be truly missed.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Mary (Sam) Gibson and Julian Ford; brother, Chester Pearson; sisters; Linda Cummings and Annie Ruth Jackson and grandson, Jamar.
