Ms. Erica L. Reaves, of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest in Milledgeville.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Hickory Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. On August 16, 1978, Erica Lachell Reaves, was born, to the parents of Doris Reaves and Eric Burton in New Haven, Connecticut. She was called home to her resting place on July 3, 2021. At an early age Erica moved to Hancock, County where she attended public school and is a Class of 1996 graduate from Hancock Central High School. She later earned a phlebotomist certification and was excited to share her accomplishment with her family. Erica grew a love for the country life and she enjoyed cookouts and family gathering. She had a big appetite to be such a small person. She always wanted a to go plate and wouldn't allow you to forget. To know Erica was to love her. She greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and a sweet spirit. She sincerely loved her family, especially her four children and grandchildren. She had a special love for her brother Tyric “TJ” Justice. They were two peas in a pod and inseparable. Waiting to meet Erica in heaven are her parents: Eric Burton and Doris Reaves Justice, Step-Father: Billy Justice, Son: Ahmeir Muleek James, Sister and Brothers: Takia Reaves, James Reaves and Tyric Justice, Grandparents: Clifford and Amanda Reaves, Aunts: Annie Blakely, Marie Foster, Uncles: Exturs Reaves, Curtis Reaves and Jessie Reaves Sr. Her precious memories will be cherished by her daughters: Khadijah (Marcus) Whipple & Kylah Nashelle Reaves, son: Kalil Rahmeir Reaves, soul-mate: Quincy Jackson, grandchildren: Trenton Markell Whipple and Ariah Verena Whipple, nephews Thaddeus Lamont Walker Jr. & Adrien Markeith Jones, niece: Ski' Ahmeir Justice; aunts: Melvyn Brown, Susie (Melvin) Gunn, Agnes (Kenneth) Washington, Tara Worthen & Lannie Lewis; uncles: Dea. Kenneth (Willie Mae) Reaves, Johnny Reaves, Cecil (Lisa) Reaves, Rev. Willie (Ruthie) Swint & Nathaniel Reaves Sr.; three Step-sisters; several devoted cousins & friends; devoted and caring families who faithfully assisted her with her children: Mary Barnes, Ozie James, Patrice Ann Justice and the entire Justice & Reaves family.
