Elizabeth Stockton Obituary

Elizabeth Hall Stockton was born October 11, 1959, in Deepstep, Georgia to the late Nettie Mae Walls and Andrew Hall.

Elizabeth was affectionately called “Liz” by those who knew her. Elizabeth was educated in Baldwin County School system. While attending school, she met her ex-husband, Gary Stockton, Sr. This union was blessed with four beautiful children, Deanna Stockton, Lanitta Parham, the late “Jeanine Harrison”, and Gary Stockton, Jr. After her four children were born, she became a devoted employee of Central State Hospital from which she retired after twenty-five years of service. After retirement, Elizabeth became an employee at Fair Field up until her health started declining. Besides being an employee, Elizabeth “Liz” was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Elizabeth loved cooking, dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Elizabeth was called home to the heavenly gates on October 4, 2024, and reunited with her loving family members, including her baby girl, Jeanine Harrison; parents, Nettie Mae Walls Hall and Andrew Hall; sister, Lillie Mae Roach.

Elizabeth will be truly missed by her family and friends. Elizabeth memories will be left in the hearts of her three children, Deanna Stockton, Lanitta Parham, and Gary Stockton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Tri'Nysia Parham, Tyrecus Harrison, Asia Parham, Nylah Stockton, Ta'Niyah Stockton, Heaven Stockton, Gary Stockton IV, and Christian Stockton; her nieces and nephews, Bernice Simmons (Lester), Allen Walls (Dawn), Kenneth Walls (Regina), Calvin Walls, Joyce Burns (Gary Sr.), Leon Roach, Sr. (Beatrice); aunts, Willie Ada Armstrong and Emma Jean Veal; a host of family and friends.
