Elizabeth Reeves Obituary

Ms. Elizabeth Jean Reeves, fondly called “Lilly” was born June 22, 1959, to the parentage of the late Mr. Clemon Reeves Sr. and Mrs. Kate E. Phelps Reeves in Baldwin County. Elizabeth was the youngest of nine children. She departed this life on July 14, 2024.

 

 Elizabeth attended the school's system of Baldwin County and graduated from Baldwin High School. She worshiped faithfully at Mt. Hope CME Church, Milledgeville, Georgia until her health declined, preventing her from attending regularly.

 

 “Lilly” was very outspoken and always said what was on her mind. Through the years of simply being herself she acquired many lifelong friendships.


 


Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lois Thomas (Johnny) and brother Clemon Reeves (Pastor Roxie).


 


She leaves to cherish fond memories her son, Brian Keith Reeves, whom she loved unconditionally; 4 sisters  Bertha Palmer,  Mary Reeves, Dorothy Reeves, and Bernie Saulsbury Williams 2 brothers; Dennis Reeves (Earnestine) and Lee Reeves; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Driskell (Daelon), Brandi Reeves (Kadarrius), Brynasia Reeves (Devonta), Bremesha Reeves, Brynayon Robinson, Brian Robinson, Brianna Robinson, and Bryson Reeves; 5 great grandchildren; Carson Liggins, Cason Liggins, Charlie Liggins, K’leyn Daniely, Karter Burton, and Kaden Hawkins; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A special cousin and longtime friend, Ms. Debra Phelps of Milledgeville, Georgia.


 


Memorial Services were held Friday July 19, 2024, at 11 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, at Slater's Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Georgia".  


"Visitation will be held on Thursday July 18, 2024, at 4:00 PM -5:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, at Slater's Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Georgia".
