It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mrs. Elaine Mosley, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mrs. Mosley passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Graveside Services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Sons of Wisdom and Daughters of Light Society Cemetery at County Line Baptist Church. Haddock, Georgia. 

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, our Lord called our beloved Elaine Hartry Mosley, better known as “Lane,” home.

Elaine was born May 23, 1956, to the parentage of the late Wilton Hartry, Jr. and Frances M. James Hartry.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen D. Mosley; sister, Frances Mosley; two brothers, Leroy Hartry and Wilton Hartry III.

Elaine's work began at Meadows Industry for several years and Jet Food Store.

At an early age Elaine accepted Christ and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. Elaine also song in the choir. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School, Class of 1975.  

Her life will forever be cherished by her devoted husband, Solomon Mosley; one daughter, Angel (Walter) Todd; three sons, Alonzo (Shana) Mosley of McDonough, GA, Solomon Mosley II of Canton, GA, Eric Mosley of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Bernice (Willie) Butts, Lois (Ronnie) Richardson, Tracy Burton, all of Milledgeville, GA, Caroline (Curry) Bladin of Florida; brother, David Hartry of Milledgeville, GA; sisters-in-law, Earnestgene (Stacey) Foreman, Odessa (Varry) McDowell, Helen (Roger) Harrison, Bernice (Richard) Nesbitt, Delores Mosley, Johnny M. Hartry, Margaret Mosley, all of Milledgeville; brothers-in-law, Elton Mosley, Jr., John Mosley, Arthur Mosley, all of Milledgeville, GA.  She loved her grandchildren dearly: Tamyia Todd, Myles Todd, Tanyia Mosley, Andriene Roach, Javian Mosley; devoted friends, Sylvia Canty, Celia Webb and Christine Johnson Murray; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
