Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Lovett, of Tennille, Georgia passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday morning, June 14, 2020.

Graveside services were held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Warthen, Georgia.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Cooper Lovett departed this life on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Lovett was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Vance Cooper, Sr. and the late Mrs. Bessie Lee Jordan Cooper. She was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Harris and one sister, Queen Reynolds.

Mrs. Lovett leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter, Faye (Derek) Miller, of Tennille, GA; threes sons: Jack (Cynthia) Harris, Jr., of Rockville, MD, Gregory Harris, of Marietta, GA, Willie (Shirley) Lovett, of Sandersville, GA; two sisters: Lillie Todd, of Sandersville, GA, Marion Gaynor, of Tennille, GA; two brothers: Vance (Denisia) Cooper, Jr., of Warner Robins, GA, Kerry Lee Cooper, of Macon, GA; two aunts: Ella Mae Brown, of Sandersville, GA, Lillie Mae Cooper, of Saginaw, MI,; one sister-in-law, Virginia (Arthur) Cummings, of Macon, GA; five brothers-in-law: Eddie Lee Lovett, of Sandersville, GA, Ezell Lovett, of Chicago, IL, Twillie Lovett, Eddie Louis Loveet, Tommie Lee Lovett, of Atlanta, GA; two devoted grandchildren: Cynekque Hurst, Brandon Hurst, of Tennille, GA; devoted friends: Patricia Hagans, Derek Hagans, Latoshia Miller, Merilyn Brinson; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
