Mrs. Della Louise Myrick, of 100 Pili Circle, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Friday April 26, 2019 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Funeral service were held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Shiloh Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mrs. Della Louise Myrick went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Navicent Health in Macon, GA.
She was born on August 29, 1948 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late James Edward and Dorothy Johnson Lee.
Della attended the public schools of Baldwin County graduating in 1967 from J. F. Boddie High School. Early in her life she joined Oak Grove Baptist Church but later moved her membership to Shiloh Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until declining health hindered her from coming.
Della spent 29 years at Central State Hospital as a HST Lead where she was a passionate and dedicated worker until she retired in 1999.
Della shall be remembered as a sweet, kind-hearted and loving person who always greeted people with encouraging and kind words. She loved people and was always willing to help someone in any way she could. To know Della was to love her. The family has lost a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Cousin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Stacy Myrick (Traci) of Palm Desert, CA, Derick Myrick (Virginia Watkins) of Stone Mountain, GA, Brian Myrick (Dana) of Alpharetta, GA and Tamara Myrick of Milledgeville, GA; six grandchildren: Corde' Myrick of Palm Desert, CA, Derick Myrick Jr and Derica Myrick of Stone Mountain, GA, Briana Myrick of Alpharetta, GA and Starlin Sims and Sienna Sims of Milledgeville, GA; one sister, Everlena Cummings (Jessie) of Milledgeville, GA; devoted friends: Louise Bonner, Sarah Mapp, Nell Maddox and Minnie Reeves all of Milledgeville, GA; and a host of relatives and friends.
