Debra Bonner Obituary

Ms. Debra Bonner, departed this life on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Navicent Health, Macon, Georgia. 

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Victory Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Parker Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, McIntyre, Georgia. 


Mrs. Debra Ann Bonner was born on October 24, 1959 to the late Mr. David Allen, Sr. and the late Mrs. Willie Lou Bonner Allen in Milledgeville, Georgia.
A Wilkinson County native, reared by her parents, “Debra Ann” as she was affectionately called was instilled the with values of hard work. That trait of working hard stayed with her as she grew older. She was a 1977 graduate of Wilkinson County High School. Aspiring to excel she matriculated at the Georgia College and State University, Milledgeville obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration becoming a registered nurse.


She also exemplified her hard work by helping others for more than thirty one years as a healthcare worker at Central State Hospital and twenty seven plus years at Oconee Regional hospital now know as Atrium Navicent Health Baldwin.
Ms. Bonnet loved the Lord. She was never afraid to speak of his goodness, so whenever and wherever her spiritual cup ran over she was sure to speak from her glad soul. As a child she joined the Christian band of baptized believers at the Parker Springs Baptist Church, McIntyre, Georgia. It’s sister church Parker Hill Baptist Church was also a church in hat she frequented as a child. As an adult she became a member of the Solid Rock Ministries where she served faithfully til her death. She will be remembered by her devotion not only to God but to the well-being of the ministry.
Debra Ann loved her family. After the death of her mother she became the family matriarch. She loved her née role in the family hosting many family dinners. She also enjoyed traveling to various destinations but above all Destin, Florida was her favorite.


She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Chercal Stanley.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter: Charesa Parham-Cash; one sister: Michelle Allen; three brothers: David (Tammy) Allen, Jr., Ronnie Allen, and Richard Allen; one God sister: Tira “T-90” Thomas; three aunts: Hazel Bonner, Reba Jackson, Joanne Carr; one uncle: Carl Henry Cummings; devoted niece: Tawana Gotell; five devoted nephews: Bryan Gotell, Braylen Gotell, T’Kiyus Harris, William Allen Simmons, Elihue Simmons, II.; devoted best friend: Nadine Alexander; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
