It is with sympathy that the staff and management of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the death of Mr. Daniel Boyer, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Boyer passed April 26, 2023.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment to follow from the Hickory Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.  

Our beloved Daniel Denard Boyer, who will be highly missed by his family was born to the parents of Oscar Daniel “OD” Boyer and Shirley Ann Ray Boyer.  His mother preceded him in death.  His father, “OD”, who he loved so much, took very good care of him.

Daniel enjoyed watching his movies and eating his junk foods.  He also loved to be talked to. Daniel loved his clothes, shoes, hugs, kisses and having his private time to himself.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rebecca Ray and James Ray, Roberta Warren Boyer and Samuel “Sam” Boyer; two great aunts, Sharon (the late Curtis) Ingram and Agnes Ingram; uncles, Samuel L. Boyer, Loery Boyer, and Johnny L. Boyer; one aunt, Lousie Ray.

He leaves to cherished memories to his father, Oscar Daniel “OD” Boyer; stepmother, Brenda Vinson; two sisters, Felicia D. Murchison (Ron) of Milledgeville, GA, Veronica Vinson of Macon, GA; one brother, Darrell Ingram (Elizabeth) of Milledgeville, GA; five aunts, Sandra Havior (Steve); Izore B. Rubin (Raymond) of Milledgeville, GA, Tommie Mae Boyer, Winnette Timmons, Marie Devereux (Curtis), all of Sparta, GA; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
