It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Daisy Pitts, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Pitts passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM from the Christ Temple of Refuge Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed from the Scott's Chapel Cooper's Community Cemetery, Gordon, Georgia. She is survived by her three daughters, Elaine Jones, Amaris Baraka and Angela Pitts, all of Milledgeville, Georgia; two devoted daughters, Izora McDowell and Betty Taylor; one devoted son, Larry Ingram; one sister, Carrie Virginia Taylor of Milledgeville, Georgia. She has eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. Daisy was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, L. Marshall Taylor and Baby Boy Taylor: three sons, Melvin, Taylor Sr., Bernard Wayne Taylor, and Arthur Taylor.
