It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mrs. Daisy Marie Parks Hawkins, 73, of Milledgeville, Georgia. Mrs. Hawkins passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Daisy Marie Parks-Hawkins Died November 17, 2021 at Piedmont Macon in Macon, GA. Daisy Marie Parks was born on March 12, 1948 to Mary Easter and Wingfield Parks Sr. who. She married Jerome Hawkins Sr. of Milledgeville, GA. They were together for 53 years and had 3 beautiful children. She worked at the Georgia Department of Corrections for 20 years where she retired from. She loved her grandchildren very much but she adored her great grandchildren as well. She loved her family very much she spent a lot of her free time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren family was everything to her. She's preceded in death by her mother Mary Easter Parks her father Wingfield Parks Sr her son Jerome Hawkins Jr and her brother Wingfield Parks Jr. Daisy always use to say “I Love You More” and “God Got Me". Her family will always cherish and remember all of the 73 years we spent with her on this earth. She is survived by her husband Jerome Hawkins S, Son Cameron Hawkins, Daughter Gretchen Hawkins, Grandchildren, Tanisha, Devonta, Chancelor, Jeffery, Kinsley, Jalonnie and her Great Grandchildren Dmaury, Jalynn, RaKinsley and Leonna. Her brothers Freddy, Sidney, Leroy, Randolph and William who are all Parks. Her sisters Ann Webster, Betty Culver and Mary Turner and a host of other family members nieces and nephews who will always remember and love her.
