Mrs. Daisy Lucinda Parks-Foston was one of thirteen children born in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of Mr. Abraham Parks and Mrs. Mattie Green- Parks-Horne. She was a quiet child and enjoyed going to school and playing with her siblings. At an early age she joined the Countyline Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed serving God with her beautiful voice singing praises to him whenever she could. Mrs. Daisy was a dedicated member of the Sons of Wisdom and Daughters of Light Society where she participated in all activities until her health failed. She also served on the Countyline's Pastor Appreciation Committee. Mrs Daisy attended the public schools of Baldwin County and graduated from Carver High School in 1955. She remained in close contact with many of her classmates as “five-five”, as they called themselves, are/were a caring close knit group of individuals. Mrs. Daisy retired from service to the State of Georgia after working 34 years caring for individuals at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, Ga. She enjoyed her work and made lifelong friends and acquaintances. She was a well-known Avon representative and she truly enjoyed her craft especially when she was able to satisfy her customers. She loved attending community church services where she would wear her stylish hats and coordinating scarves. Her hobbies were sewing and crocheting and tending her flowers. She had flowers here, flowers there - in the house, out the house, at her children's house-, flowers everywhere. It was the early morning on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, Mrs. Daisy Lucinda Parks-Foston departed life on earth to continue her journey in God's care. Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her three beloved daughters, Mrs Gwendolyn F. Johnson (Wayne), Ms Corene F. Fluellen, and Ms Shanika L. Foston, all of Milledgeville, Georgia. She also leaves to cherish her memories five grandchildren- Mr. Gregory T. Fluellen (Shikema), Mr. Charvis W. Johnson, Mr. Darius D. Johnson, Mrs. Nikita F.
