It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Cynthia Marshall Howard.
Ms. Howard passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Saint Mary's Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Cynthia Marshall made her advent into this world on July 5,1961 to the parentage of the late Mr. Tommie Lee Marshall and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Fluellen Marshall of Sparta, GA. Cynthia “Boo-Boo”, the name she was affectionately called by those who knew her left Georgia at an early age. She grew up and was educated in the public schools of Detroit, Michigan. Later in life “Boo-Boo” met and married Johnnie L. Howard, Sr.
On June 22, 2022, Cynthia finished her course on earth. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie Howard, Sr., her sisters, Bernestine, Inez, Caroline and one brother, Roddie.
Cynthia “Boo-Boo” leaves to cherish her memories to her four daughters, Gloria and April Roberson of Sparta, GA, Lucinda (Edward) Johnson of Chicago, IL, Latoria Howard of Detroit, MI; son: Johnnie Howard, Jr. of Detroit, MI; three grandchildren, Shikema and Rashard Roberson of Sparta, GA and Kaisha Johnson Washington D.C.; one brother, Angelo Marshall of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Angela Reaves of Sandersville, GA and Patricia Brown, California; two aunts, Elizabeth Marshall Roberson and Evelyn Marshall; one uncle, Johnnie Fluellen of Sparta, GA; one sister-in-law, Lynn Mar-shall of Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members.
