Mr. Curtis Ingram, of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Southland Nursing Facility, Dublin, Georgia.
Memorial services were held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home.
The Most High called one of his own, Mr. Curtis Lee Ingram Sr., home on August 24, 2021.
Curtis Sr. was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Tebie and Annie Mae Flagg Ingram. Preceding Mr. Ingram in death; daughters, Betty Jean Butts; Anna C. Ingram; Diann I. Jackson and Linda I. Watts; Son, Mr. Robert Lee Butts, and one stepdaughter Linda D. Mason.
Curtis, affectionately called “Pop” by many, retired from Fowler Flemister Concrete of Milledgeville, GA. After retirement, Pop became a homebody who enjoyed sitting by the window enjoying his grandchildren. In his moments of leisure, he enjoyed speaking with family members and friends, and watching western television shows.
Cherishing his memories; his wife of 35 years Sharon L. Ingram; sons, Curtis Lee Ingram Jr. and Michael D. Ingram (Carolyn); daughters, JoAnn I. Edwards (Tommie), Ann Cummings, and Brenda Lee Ingram; sister, Catherine Holsey; stepsons, Calvin Mason (Melissa) and Freddie Mason, Jr.; stepdaughter, Terri Tucker. Twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren; a devoted step granddaughter, LaQuesa Simmons Moss (Marvin) and a devoted great grandson, Anye’ Wiggins. A host of nieces, nephews and friends will cherish “Pop” memory.
