Mr. Crawford L. Jones, of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Navicent Health Baldwin, Milledgeville,  Georgia.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Deacon Crawford Lee Jones, was born on February 4, 1938 to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Ruth Jones. Our beloved Crawford departed this earth on May 26, 2021. Deacon Jones was proceeded in death by two children; Crawford Jones Jr. and Rosalind Jones. Deacon Crawford served as the Chairman of the Mount Nebo Baptist Church Deacon Board for many years. He also served as President of the Usher’s Convention. He loved the Lord and loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was employed by McGaw Laboratories for 23 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, landscaping and spending time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 63 years, Lila Jones, three children; Donald (Jackie) Jones of Dallas, Georgia; and Janice (Jesse) Beckom of Milledgeville, Georgia; and Jackie (James) Watts of Sandersville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Tiffany and Jessica Beckom, Donald and Donovan Jones and Kimberly Watts and James Watts ll. Deacon Jones also leaves behind six lovely sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
