Mrs. Cora West, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 9, 2021 at her residence.
Graveside services were held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Memory Hill Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mrs. Cora Lee Elizabeth West was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Austin E. West, Sr. She was born in Sandersville, Ga. to the late Mr. Will & Ellen Marshall. She was a caretaker for many years until she began working as a housekeeper at Central State Hospital, VA. as a Housekeeper where she started at the age of 42 years old, and retiring in the early 90's.
She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters: Cora Mason, Gloria (Darryl) Brown, Geraldine (Link) West, Antionette (David) West, Sharon (John) West all of Milledgeville, Ga; one son: John (Regina) West of Milledgeville, Ga; three sisters: Anita Finney, Frances Gibson, Mary Hooks all of Milledgeville, Ga., twelve grandchildren, thirty- two great-great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friend
