Clifford Alan Hale, lovingly known as Cliff, was born on January 12, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York to the late parentage of Mildred Ellis Hale and William Hale, Jr. He peacefully left us on November 9, 2024, at the age of 64 in Macon, Ga (Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center).

Many life lessons and the shaping of Cliff's views came from his late grandparents, Mr. William Hale, Sr. & Mrs. Laura Lee Hale. Cliff was a hardworking man who retired from being a Switch Operator at Rescar. He would work long hours and still come home and do yard work and or work on the car. He loved being in the company of his family and made sure to light up the room with his humor. Whether that was chatting about the latest movie, the latest game or sharing his love for History.

Clifford graduated from New Utrecht High School of Brooklyn, New York and then attended Savannah State University where he played football and worked towards his bachelor's degree. Along this journey he met his lifelong partner, Mrs. Vanessa Gale Driskell. It was never a dull moment between these two. They soon became inseparable, joining together in marriage on May 2, 1987.

Memories will forever linger in the hearts of his wife, Vanessa Gale Hale; his two children, Alan X. Hale (Shalisha) of Augusta, GA, Lauren Hale of Statesboro, GA; his two grandchildren, Chase and Nala Hale. He leaves behind his father-in-law, Herman Driskell (Late Annie Maude Driskell) of Milledgeville; his two brothers-in-law, Dwayne Driskell (Angela) of Covington and Darrick Driskell (Valerie) of Covington. He will truly be missed.
