Christine Foston

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Christine Foston, 69, of Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Foston passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in the Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Ms. Christine L. Foston was born in Milledgeville Georgia on September 10,1952 born to the late Mr. Ransom and Willie Mae Satcher Foston. Christine graduated June 2,1970 from JF Boddie High School. Christine retired from Oconee Regional Medical Center currently known as Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin where she worked for 22 years as a Switchboard Operator. Because of her love and passion for helping others she also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing hospice care. Christine was a faithful Christian and member of Oak Grove Baptist Church #1 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Christine was poised and carried herself with elegance and grace. While in her presence she would always give you a kind word of encouragement and a warm smile. On Tuesday, February 1, 2022 Christine transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home. She will be greatly missed, and cherished memories will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Charles Montrel Roach (Semika); granddaughters, Brianna and Makayla Roach; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca James and Mrs. Hellen Turner; as well as a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and friends.
