It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Charles B. Henderson Sr., Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Henderson passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia with interment to follow.  

Mr. Charles B. Henderson, Sr. was born on June 23, 1947, in Allegheny County, PA to Mr. George Enoch Henderson and Ms. Mildred Johnson, who both preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death, along with his parents, are his sister and brother, Ms. Betty “Pill” Loggins and Mr. George Henderson, Jr.

Charles was a veteran and retiree of Central State Hospital. He loved watching TV, playing the lottery, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He also drove trucks and setup mobile home for families.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory one loving, devoted son, Charles B. Henderson, Jr.; two brothers, John Henderson, Sr., Harold Henderson (Evelyn); three sisters, Elaine Henderson, Diane McKearney (Michael) & Alfredia Butts; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; caregiver, April "Lisa" Stephens.
