She was educated in the public schools of Baldwin County, where she built a foundation of faith, discipline, and perseverance. After moving back home to Milledgeville, Catherine continued working for a time in the cafeteria at Georgia Military College, where she enjoyed connecting with students and staff. She later left due to illness, but her work ethic and care for others never wavered.
Outside of her work and family, Catherine found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved listening to Al Green, styling hair, caring for her beloved pets, and capturing memories with her camera.
