Brenda Faye (Cuyler) Hurst

Ms. Brenda Faye Cuyler Hurst, of Sandersville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 in Milledgeville. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home. Interment  followed in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sandersville, Georgia.

Mrs. Hurst affectionately known as "Back" by her family was born to the late Mr. Willie Jean Cuyler and the late Mrs. Irene Swint Cuyler in Sandersville, Georgia on December 15, 1955.

She was born the eighth of nine children and grew up in Sandersville, Georgia graduating from Washington County High School. Brenda enjoyed caring for her family as it was shown throughout her life as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mr. L.W. Hurst, Sr., two sisters, and three brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister: Mrs. Luteaoue Hilson, Milledgeville, GA; two brothers: Mr. Bobbie Swint, Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Wade Cuyler, Sandersville, GA; one step daughter: Ms. Monica (Howard, Jr.) Hurst, Sandersville, GA; two step sons:Mr. Anthony Hurst, Mr. Cedric Hurst, Sandersville, GA; two uncles: Mr. Alvin Cuyler, Mr. Ed Cuyler, Macon, GA; one aunt: Mrs. Louise Watts, Sandersville, GA; four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
