Brandon Harris Obituary

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Brandon Harris, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Harris passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of All Faiths with interment to follow at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Brandon M. Harris was born July 29, 1998, to the parentage of Ms. Chiquita T. Hooks and Ronrico G. Harris in Macon, GA. Brandon Malik Harris, known as Malik attended the public schools of Baldwin County. He was a 2016 graduate of Baldwin High and currently attending Georgia Military College, pursuing a degree in criminal justice. At an early age, he joined Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the WMB Society. He was an employee at Publix Supermarket at Lake Oconee Village, Greensboro, GA. On Monday, April 4th, 2022, Brandon was called to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Reuniting him with his grandfather Eddie Harris, grandmother Pinky Fraley, and cousin/brother Terrence Hooks. On a daily basis, Brandon would check on his grandma and great grandma. Brandon leaves to cherish his memory. His mother, Shaquita hooks of Jonesboro, GA; his father, Ronrico Harris of Milledgeville, GA; two brothers, JaQuex Daughtry of Milledgeville, Eric Butts, Jr. of Jonesboro, GA; three sisters, Dynazja Harris of Yokota Airbase, Tokyo Fussa Japan, Tateyanna Harris and Caitlin Hooks of Milledgeville, GA; grandparents, Eva M. Harris of Milledgeville, GA, Jessie (Juanita) Hill of Savannah, GA; two aunts, Marquetta (Russell) McElveen and LaShonna Hooks of Milledgeville, GA; five uncles, Cavin (Shequitta) Hooks, Vashawn Macklin, Virgil Canty, Joaquin Harris, all of Milledgeville, GA, Jessie (Michelle) Hill of Lizella, GA; nephews and nieces, Jayce Daughtry, Arianna Harris, and Peyton Walls; cousin, Russell McElveen of Milledgeville, GA; God daughter, Aveah Michell; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
