Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Una Memorial Park, Milledgeville, Georgia.

On September 1 1956, Mrs. Belinda Gail Simmons was born to the late George and Annie Lois Simmons of Milledgeville Ga. She was the first of ten children and was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Antonio Simmons, brother-in-law, Dexter Hill. Belinda attended the Baldwin County School System, where she graduated from Baldwin High School with the class of 1974. She had three sons who she truly admired. She was employed with the Youth Development Center in Milledgeville where she transferred and later retired as Sgt. Hill from the Macon RYDC Facility. Belinda met and married the love of her life Mr. Lorenzo Hill on March 22, 2002 and this union continued until her untimely death. Belinda enjoyed cooking, helping others and spending time with her family and grandchildren in her spare time. You could always find her at home tapping on her tablet, sitting in her favorite chair watching television and spoiling her dog, Jordan. Belinda was a woman with a big, forgiving heart. She had a beautiful and humble spirit that everybody drew upon. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Belinda returned home for reward on Sunday, May 31, 2021 at the Navicent Health in Milledgeville, Georgia. Belinda will be will be cherished in memory by the ones who loved her, husband, Lorenzo Hill, of Milledgeville, GA; two sons: Kevin (April King) Simmons, Andre (Sharonica) Simmons, all of Milledgeville, GA; mother-in-law, Laura Washington; four sisters: Carolyn (Todd) Claybourne, Annie (Greg) Flournoy, Bertha Simmons, Katrina Simmons; five brothers: George Edward (Brenda) Simmons, Jr., Ronnie Simmons, Barry (Sandra) Simmons, Vincent (Yvonne) Simmons, Willie Simmons, all of Milledgeville, GA; one sister-in-law, Gloria (Michael) Waller, of Augusta, GA; three brothers-in-law: Stacey Hill, of Augusta, GA, Eddie Hill, Jr., of Orlando, FL, Everette Hill, of Milledgeville, GA; one aunt, Udene Byrd, of Milledgeville, GA; fourteen grandchildren, sis great grandchildren, several cousins, other relatives and friends.
