It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Arvettra Stanton, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Stanton passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, Milledgeville, Georgia.

On Wednesday, April 26, 2023 Arvettra L. Stanton passed peacefully from this life where she was surrounded and supported by her loving family. Arvettra, affectionately known as Vet, was born December 31, 1971, in Milledgeville, Georgia where she attended the Baldwin County School system. 

She was preceded in death by her father, her grandfather, Theodore Stanton and Uncle Melvin D. Stanton. Vet truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed talking with family and spending endless time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the most important part of her life.

Her beautiful life will be forever missed and remembered by her devoted friend, Rodney Winkfield and devoted cousin, LaCrecia Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. relatives and friends.

Children; Shenikkia Mason, Ricky Barnes (Jade) and Brandy Myrick (Antonio). Grandkids; Olliyah, Brandon, Darryl, Ja'Kheem, Greyson, Antwan, Bella, Chayce, and a great grand; Na'Mari. Her mother; Patricia Stanton and grandmother; Ora F. Stanton; brothers; Dewayne Fraley, Emilio Scott, Jermain Durden (Valerie) and sister; Sharita Simmons (Albert) and Chasity Whipple (Randolph). Her aunts; Sylvia Stanton, Eva Stanton and Delois Walker (Clark). Her uncles; Harry Stanton Sr. and Freddie Stanton of Texas.

She is survived by her loving family and friends.
