Mr. Aron Reaves, Jr., of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 2, 2021 in Millen, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Bundrage Cemetery, Deepstep Road, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Aron Reaves Jr. “Rock” was called home to his eternal resting place on August 2, 2021. Aron was born on September 18, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mr. Aron Reaves Sr. and Rosa Lee Reaves.

He grew up in Milledgeville, GA and attended the Baldwin County School system. He was a graduate of the class of 1976. He became employed at Central State Hospital as a Health Service Technician. As the years passed, Aron became a dedicated commercial truck driver. His most recent employer was JLW of Eatonton, GA.

Aron was a member of Central Church of Christ in Madison, GA. On April 13, 2013, Aron married the love of his life, Sylvia Ross.

During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and his dog Skeeter, watching westerns, and repairing motor vehicles.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Ulysse Reaves Sr. and daughter-in-law, Veronique Wright Reaves.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sylvia Ross Reaves of Milledgeville GA; three sons, Mr. Analdo Reaves, Mr. Rantavia Reaves, and Mr. Jesstin Washington, all of Milledgeville, GA; two daughters, Ms. Sherkeyla Reaves and Mrs. LaQuita James (Antonio), all of Milledgeville, GA; his loving mother, Mrs. Rosa Lee Reaves of Milledgeville, GA; five brothers, Mr. Freddie Reeves (Betty), Mr. Jesse Reaves (Denise), Mr. Curtis Reaves (DeWanda), Mr. Link Reaves (Tiffany), Mr. Michael Reaves (Julie), all of Milledgeville, GA; one sister, Elizabeth Reaves Washington (Arnold) of Milledgeville, GA; sister-in-law, Maxine Cullen Reaves of Milledgeville, GA; one uncle, Mr. Frank Thomas of Philadelphia, PA; one aunt, Mrs. Laurette Rhodes of Milledgeville, GA; eleven grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins; and a devoted friend, Mr. Donnie Glover of Atlanta, GA
