Our beloved Matriarch peacefully entered eternal rest on March 16, 2024, at the age of 78.
Annie Louise Taylor was born on May 30, 1945, to the late Mr. Furman and Mrs. Caro Myrick Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Eugene Taylor and Willie Taylor, one sister Estella Taylor Alford, and her son Bobby Taylor.
“Annie” as she was affectionately called was educated by Wilkinson County School System and later moved to Baldwin County where she raised her five children.
Annie was employed by Central State Hospital where she retired after 25 years of faithful service. Annie's love for helping and working did not stop after retirement. She continued working as a Bus Monitor for the Baldwin County School District until her health declined.
Annie enjoyed spending time with her family, and attending church at Second Macedonia Baptist where she served on the Usher Board. Annie was passionate and looked forward to the second and fourth Sunday to serve in the house of the lord on the Usher Board. She enjoyed dancing, staying active by walking and cooking for her family and friends. Annie's Sunday dinners will be missed.
