Mrs. Alma Justice Lamar Chapple "Cutie", of Milledgeville, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her residence, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Scotts Chapel Community Cemetery, Stevens Pottery, Georgia.

Alma Jessie (Cutie) Lamar Chapple entered eternal rest on June 22, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Alma Chapple, affectionately known as "Cutie", was born December 4, 1955 to late Geneva Justice Lamar and Bennie Lamar Sr. in Sparta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jan Lamar, Nettie Rue May, Keith Lamar, Bennie Lamar Jr., Burdie Lamar and Oscar Brown.

Accepting Jesus as her savior, she became a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Alma received her education from the public school system of Hancock County and was a 1973 graduate.

In 1973, she met the love of life, Mr. Leroy Chapple and in 1975 they were married. This union blessed them with three children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Alma enjoyed spending time with her husband. The two of them enjoyed going to James Brown, Otis Redding and many other old school R&B artist’s concerts. She loved her children and would do anything for them, but she loved her grand and great grandchildren more. Nothing gave her more satisfaction than spending quality time with them. Cutie could be found doing her favorite hobby, crossword puzzles or arts and crafts. She enjoyed the company of others and always had a smile and something kind to say.

Mrs. Alma cherished memories live on with her family, husband, Leroy Chapple; daughters: Savannah (Shermon) Chappe, Vickie (Ricky, Sr) Harris, all of Milledgeville, GA; one son, Travis Chapple, of Tennessee; grandchildren: Deandrae Hartry, Rickeria Harris, Ricky Harris III, Rickiya Harris, Raekwon Taylor, Simeon Taylor, Savon Talor, Jaideon Talor, Tarvious Chapple, Amaya Chapple, Brandaya Chapple, Malachi Chapple, all of Milledgeville, GA; great grandchildren: Maliyah Hartry, Kayden Mosley, both of Milledgeville, GA; Siblings: James Brown, Shirley Brown, Jimmy Lynn Brown, Maggie (Larry) Chatman, Diane (Dennis) Clay, Raven (Diane) Brown; In-laws: Memphis Chapple, James Chapple, Christine Chapple, Geneva Chapple, all of Milledgeville, GA; several other family members and friends.
