It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Alemita Hill, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Hill passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 12:00PM from the Dixon Temple Church of God and Christ, Toombsboro, Georgia. Interment followed from the Cannon Quarter Cemetery, Toombsboro, Georgia.

Alemita Hill was born on March 28, 1950 in Toomsboro Georgia, to the parentage of the late WL Marshall and Mary Woodard Evans. She attended the public school of Calhoun Consolidated of Wilkinson County. Alemita retired from PruittHealth in Toomsboro, GA Alemita was a faithful member of Dixon Temple C.O.G.I.C., in Toomsboro, GA Alemita enjoyed going to “Dublin” Walmart and Ollies, she also loved cooking, feeding the community, fishing and cleaning her yard.
On Friday, February 10, 2023 our beloved Alemita I. Hill peacefully entered into eternal rest at Piedmont Hospital in Macon Ga. She entered eternal rest beside her husband “Claude Hill” and her Mother and Father. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ola Mae Miller, and brothers, Richard Evans and Eddie Miller.
Her memories will always be cherished by her children; Linda ( Phillip Sanders) of Milledgeville, GA, Toshiba ( Leonard Owens) of Irwinton, GA and Alfonza Kitchens Jr. of Toomsboro, GA. Her memory also lives through her six grandchildren: Tevin and Delvin Underwood, Akebria and Akira Owens, Alfonzo and Jamiah Ray and one Great Grand, Parker Underwood. Along with her 3 sisters: Dorothy Hall, Mary Helen Coverson and Percilla Evans; 1 brother: Hiram Miller, sisters- in law: Barbara Mapp and Carolyn Hill; brothers in law: Larry and Ricky Hill and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
