Ms. Willie Bell Shropshire, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice, Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home.

Ms. Willie Bell was born on February 15, 1932 to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Felton and Lillie Woodall Shropshire in Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Ms. Willie Bell was known to everyone as a “Sweet Lady”. Although she didn't have any children of her own, she loved all children and wanted to make sure that they all felt special. She showed her love through the Grandparent Program at the Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, GA. She believed in the job she did and others believed in her.

Ms. Willie Bell Shropshire entered into this Life's rest at Pine Pionte Hospice Macon, Georgia on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Ms. Willie Bell is survived by her brother, Mr. John Lewis Shropshire, Milledgeville, GA; devoted nephew, Mr. Roger Wilson, of Milledgeville, GA; two devoted nieces: Ms. Charmane Butts and Ms. Jessica Wilson, both of Milledgeville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
