Wanda "Wanda Bay" Tharpe

Mrs. Wanda Denise Tharpe, of 445 Simsbury Ridge, Macon, Georgia originally of Hancock County, Sparta passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 12:00 NOON from the Victory Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mrs. Wanda Denise Warren Tharpe was born to the lare Mr. John Henry Warren, Sr. and the late Mrs. Louise Chatman Warren on August 31, 1963 in Sparta, Georgia.

Wanda was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly. She worked hard to obtain her GED and later granduated from Central Georgia Technical College with a early chilhood education degree.

Wanda was true to her faith and savior serving as a faithful member & intercessor of Christ Temple of Refuge, Milledgeville, Georgia since 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Henry Warren, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory; a devoted husband Theodore V. Tharpe, Sr.; two sons: Rossi U. Warren and Theodore V. Tharpe, Jr.; two daughters: Jenicia Tia Turner and Christa V. Tharpe; two grandchildren; Camden Snead and Theodore V. Tharpe, III.; four brothers: Linton (Henrietta) Warren, Nathaniel (Linda) Warren, Calvin (Carolyn) Warren, Rodney (Lisa) Warren; six sisters: Julia (Johnny) Davis, Evelyn Warren, Katie Warren, Annie (James) Williams, Rosa (Greg) Ward, Audrey Warren Hitchcock; several other relatives and friends.
