Mr. Ulysee "Scutt" Mosley, 127 Nature Creek Trail SW, Milledgeville, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Navicent Health Baldwin .
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
On Saturday, July 13, 2019 a father, a brother, an uncle, a grandfather, a friend, name Scutt was called home to be with the Lord.
Mr. Ulysee Mosley known as “Scutt” was born February 8, 1949 to the parentage of Laura B. O’neal and Elton Mosley, Jr. He was the second oldest of thirteen (13) siblings.
At an early age he join Flipper Chapel AME. He was a graduate of Boddie High School class of 1967. He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of the Georgia National Guard, a member of the American Legion Post 523. He was also a retiree of Central State Hospital.
“Scutt” was united in Holy Matrimony in 1970 to the late Bernice Johnson. To this union they were blessed with a daughter, Angie Shontel Mosley Smith. Scutt loved his family and friends. He was the entertainer of the family. He enjoyed talking with everybody, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, and most of all feeding his family & friends.
“Scutt” was preceded in death by two brothers: Sherman Mosley and David Mosley.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted daughter and son-inlaw, Angie Shontel Mosley Smith (Terence); one son, Douglas Allen of Atlanta, GA; six sisters, Earnestgene Foreman (Stacey), Odessa McDowell (Varry), Helen Harrison (Roger), Margaret Mosley, Delois Mosley, Bernice Stribling, all of Milledgeville; four brothers, Solomon Mosley (Elaine), Elton Mosley III (Barbara), John Mosley, Arthur Mosley of Milledgeville; aunts, Mrs. Daisy Burnett of Montrose, GA, Addie Knight, Laverne Williams of Irwinton, GA; uncles, John Williams, Herman Ford, J.C. Ford of Irwinton, GA; four grandchildren, Alexis Milner, Taahariah Milner, Vonterrio Milner, Bryson Allen of Milledgeville; three great grands; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives; devoted caregivers, Vonterrrio Milner (grandson), Darrin Mosley (nephew), sisters, brothers, daughter; devoted friends, Earl Butts, Henry Holsey, Edward Palmer, Letty Brantley, Maxine Reaves and Eve Mapp.
