Mr. Travis Hogan, of 115 Coombs Avenue SE, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 12 NOON from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Travis Hogan, son of Mary Lou Brown Hogan and Walter Hogan was born on October 6, 1971 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Travis attended public schools in Baldwin County and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1989.
Travis was well regarded as a talented and gifted basketball player and after his graduation from Baldwin High, he attended Chattanooga Tech in Tennessee on a Basketball scholarship. He enjoyed a variety of sports activities but he was particular fan of football and basketball. He spent countless hours watching the games on television with his family and friends. Travis was affectionately called "Bam Bam" by his many friends on "the Height" and elsewhere. He especially enjoyed being with and entertaining his friends at home.
Travis was a beautiful and gentle soul who laughed easily, lived humbly and loved his family most of all. Although his life was cut short, Travis leaves and indelible mark and legacy in the hearts of those that knew him.
God called Travis to eternal rest on Monday morning, August 6, 2018.
Cherish memories will cling to the hearts of his beloved family members, to include his mother Mrs. Mary Hogan; his father, Mr. Walter Hogan; one brother, Mr. Tracy (Cassandra) Brown; four sisters: Mrs. Shamika Hogan Goddard, Mrs. Tarneishia (William) Goddard, Ms. Charlotte Hall, Ms. Latasha Hall, all of Milledgeville, GA; several other relatives and friends.
