Tobias Ramon Hartry

Mr. Tobais Hartry, of 441 East McIntosh St, Apt 6-K, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Navicent Health Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Austin Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Deacon Tobias Ramon Hartry, known to many as “Bias” was born on May 23, 1980 to the parentage of Melvin Hartry a n d L i n d a Reaves Hartry, both of Milledgeville, Georgia.

“Bias” attended public school in Baldwin County, Georgia.  He later beame employed at Horton Homes for many years.  “Bias” had a humble spirit and a joyous sense of humor.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  He also loved joking and seeing others laugh.  Basketball and wrestling was a must to watch on TV.

Tobias attended various churches growing up.  In 2013 “Bias” accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He joined the Cathedral of Hope in Sandersville, Georgia under Apostle Peggy Gilbert where he became a Deacon.  Tobias kept himself entertained by listening to gospel music to keep his mind at peace and other entertainment like Facebook and YouTube.  “Bias” was a free spirt person and his smile would brighten any room.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. Ulus Reaves, Sr., and Juanita Reaves and paternal grandparents, Mr. Wilton Hartry and Marie Hill Hartry.

On Thursday, July 18, 2019 our beloved “Bias” was called to eternal rest.

He leaves to forever cherish his memories: his parents, Melvin Hartry and Linda Reaves Hartry; his only daughter, Shambrecia Hartry; his siblings, Ryan Hartry (VonShell), Yolanda Hartry (Koty), Melvin Hartry Jr. (Kenya) and Shawn Pearson; aunts, Annie Reaves, Jeanette Reaves, Ella Reaves, Lavata Woodard, Dorthy Harper, all of Milledgeville, GA, Helen Williams of Irwinton, GA; great aunt, Apostle Luvenia McClain of Sparta, GA; uncles, Tommy Hartry (Lealo), Aron Hartry of Milledgeville, GA, Walton Reaves of Irwinton, GA, Eric Reaves (Victoria) of Warner Robins, GA, Benjamin Reaves (Marie of Provo, Utah; two davoted aunts, Brenda and Theresa Reaves; several devoted cousins, Lisa Reaves Simmons, Tyon West, Sr., Christopher Reaves, Jermaine Reaves, Johnathan Paschal; one devoted second cousin, Patricia Easley.
