Rosa Alice Johnson

Mrs. Rosa Alice Johnson, of Sparta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Chaplinwood Health and Rehabilitation, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Second Beulah Baptist Church, Sparta, Georgia. Interment was held in Hickory Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia. 

Rosa A. Johnson was born on December 28, 1944 to the parentage of Mr. Willie and Mrs. Annie Barnes.

Rosa attended school in Hancock County. She was employed at Central State Hospital as a Housekeeper. She retired with twenty-eight years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who would give her last. Her family brought her great pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willie Lee Johnson, Sr., parents, three siblings and one son, Mr. Robert Lee Barnes.

Cherished memories remain in the heart of her two sons: Mr. Willie (Robin) Johnson, Jr., of Sparta, Ga, Mr. Derrick (Krista) Johnson, of Milledgeville, Ga; seven grandchildren: Mr. Robert R. Barnes, Mr. Davion (DJ) Johnson, Ms. Kaliesha M. Johnson, Ms. Kaniya Johnson, Mr. Darius Johnson, Ms. Maya Johnson, Mr. Na'Ron Usry; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
