Robert Hubbard, Jr.

Mr. Robert Hubbard, Jr., of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Navicent Health Macon.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Robert Hubbard, Jr. was born August 19, 1955 to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hubbard, Sr. and Elenor Gwendolyn Hubbard.

At an early age Robert Hubbard, Jr. joined Trinity C.M.E. Church of Milledgeville, GA.  He attended the public schools of Baldwin County.  Robert affectionately known as “Get” craft was painting and carpentry.  He enjoyed smiling, dancing, and having a good time with family and friends.  During his latter years he attended the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Milledgeville, GA.

On March 01, 2011, he reunited with the love of his life, Mr. Vernal Myrick.

On June 25, 2019, our beloved Mr. Robert Hubbard, Jr. went home to be with the Lord.  Otherthan his parents, Jarvis Hubbard and Victor Chatfield greeted him at heaven’s gate.

Cherished memories shall abide in the hearts of his beloved family.  Survivors include: his companion, Ms. Vernal Myrick of Milledgeville, GA; three step children, Tracy Butts (Danielle), Kendrick Butts (LaTonya), and Angela Hogan, all of Milledgeville, GA; four sisters, Ms. Denise L. Cook, Ms. Cathy A. Hubbard, Ms. Edwina “Mickey” Hubbard, and Ms. Monique Hubbard (Stacy), all of Milledgeville, GA; one brother, Mr. Fredrick L. Hubbard of Ellenwood, GA; nine nieces and nephews, Morrio Hubbard,  Bilan (Tyon) West, Alexis Hill, Kashae Rawlings, J Monshae Underwood, all of Milledgeville, GA, Chad Hubbard (Shamia) of Jonesboro, GA, Tanyanna Hubbard of Lithonia, GA and Adrian Jones (Christy) of Atlanta, GA; a devoted and special grandson, Bryson Dennis of Milledgeville, GA; aunts, Mrs. Dorthy Hurt, Mrs. Shirley Hurt and Mrs. Joan Lundy, all of Milledgeville, GA, and Mrs. Betty McCoy of Baltimore, MD; devoted cousins, Julia Williams, Odesa Taylor, Ruth and Durrell Ingram, all of Milledgeville, GA; a host of family and friends.
